What It Does?
This plugin provides an easy-to-use interface where you can:
- Export all of your posts with their current titles and headings into a CSV file
- Quickly update multiple titles and headers at once in a CSV file
- Modify levels of headings in bulk, for example, from H2 to H3
- Save changes with a single click, without opening each post manually
How It Works?
Once installed, you’ll find a new section in your dashboard menu. From there:
- Export all posts by clicking on the “Export Posts” button
- This will export all your posts’ titles and headers along with post IDs and URLs into a CSV file
- Make changes to any title or header you wish. You can even change a header level by modifying headingx_level
- Note that you don’t need to update all your posts. Just leave the rows of posts you want to update and it won’t touch your other posts
- Save your changes and import your updated CSV file back via the plugin dashboard
- That’s it!
It’s designed to be straightforward and intuitive, even for non-technical users.
CAUTION: we highly recommend taking a server-level backup before making any changes, in case something goes wrong.
Don’t update all posts at once. Update a few posts, make sure the plugin works correctly, and then import the rest of your posts.
This plugin currently works with the Gutenberg editor only. If you use classic or any other editor, this plugin won’t work properly.
