Earlier in February, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G flagship smartphone. The phone arrived in two colour variants including Cosmic Grey and Cosmic Black. Today, the South Korean tech giant has launched the Cloud White colour option for the handset. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G model with the new slick paint job is currently only available in China, but is expected to be released in other markets like the US in the near future. The new colour variant of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G looks similar to the Galaxy S20 Cloud White model, which is only available in select markets at the moment.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G’s new Cloud White option is being offered in a single variant, which sports 12GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage. The rest of the specifications of the new model are the same as the earlier hues of the smartphone. The new variant is priced at 9,999 Yuan (~1,420), and is available to buy on the brand’s website in China.

To recap features of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, the phone flaunts a layer of curved Gorilla Glass 6 on both the front and rear. The phone boasts a large 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with Quad HD+ resolution and a massive screen refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the screen, the handset has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The device’s display also has a hole in the middle towards the top to house the selfie shooter.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s latest top-notch chipset, the Snapdragon 865. Software-wise, the handset boots Android 10 out of the box, which is layered with the brand’s One UI 2.0 interface. In the optics department, the phone ships with a massive 108MP primary camera that features an aperture of f/1.8, PDAF, and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). The main shooter is paired with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor that has an aperture of f/2.2 and a field-of-view of 120-degree.
The rear camera module of the Galaxy S20 Ultra also has a 48MP telephoto lens with f/3.5 aperture, PDAF, and OIS, and a DepthVision (3D ToF) sensor. Notably, the quad-camera setup of the flagship flaunts Space Zoom functionality, which utilises AI-powered multi-image processing to provide clear images at zoom levels as high as 100X. The device is also capable of recording videos at 8K resolution and capture photos with modes like Live Focus, cropped, Ultra Wide, and more. For selfies and video-calling purposes, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G houses a 40MP camera on the front with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF.
Talking about the other specs, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is IP68 certified, which makes it impervious to dust and water. The phone is equipped with AKG-tuned stereo speakers to provide an immersive media experience. Lastly, a beefy 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse charging support completes the list of the specifications of the handset.
