Today we have the very first renders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, thanks to a collaboration with David from xleaks7. David’s source said that Samsung is still working on some parts of this flagship, so there are elements that can’t be confirmed as of now. However, this is the most up to date model of the Galaxy Note 20 you will find right now.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Dimensions
The dimensions of the device are 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm. That makes this device just over half a millimetre thicker than the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus from last year. From an overall size point of view though, the Note 20 will be significantly bigger than the Note 10 and closer to the Note 10 Plus’ size. That makes you wonder what size the bigger Note 20 will be this year.
It’s around the same thickness as the Galaxy Note 9. Our source said that these are the dimensions for the smaller Note 20 this year, suggesting that something like a Note 20 Plus will also be in the offing.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Design
There’s not a sea change from the design point of view either. Samsung seems to have moved the home button and volume controls from the left to the right side. The phone will have thin bezels and the screen’s total dimensions stand at 155.4 x 69.1 mm, that’s exactly 6.7″ screen. There’s a punch-hole camera on the front too, which means that Samsung isn’t ready with under display camera designs just yet.
The S-Pen, which is the Note’s main hook, has also been moved to another side, alongside a USB Type-C port bang in the middle of the bottom. The SIM tray is on the top of the phone and the rear camera module looks very similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Going by Samsung’s patterns, the Note 20 should have the camera similar to the S20 Ultra, given that was Samsung’s best for the year.
The rear camera module is 38.1 mm long and 21.9 mm wide. Samsung is still working on the cameras, so we can’t confirm what they will be yet. Other than that, the phone seems to have a slightly rounder design at the back, curved edges, which is another similarity with the S20 Ultra, and almost flat front.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Release Date
The Galaxy Note 20 is expected to be released in two sizes in August this year. As mentioned earlier, the specs here are for the smaller Note 20.
